You’ll also benefit from a variety of discounts and special offers. After enrolling, you’ll receive a welcome packet in the mail that includes your member ID card, detailed plan information and a list of local vision providers.
When you do need vision care, Aetna provides a wide selection of neighborhood retail locations, as well as national ones. You can also visit any licensed eye care provider outside the network (you’ll just pay more out of pocket and may have to file your own claims if you do).
And, when you shop online for contacts or glasses with covered providers, your vision benefits will be applied automatically when you check out.
